GardenOfLove is a community based social media platform built around philanthropy, connecting individuals and nonprofits to create a community dedicated to positive change. The company is committed to simplifying the fundraising and donation processes, making it easier for people to contribute to meaningful causes. By offering accessible tools and consistent support, GardenOfLove enables users to become part of a global community focused on kindness and generosity. The goal is to inspire a ripple effect of goodwill and impact across the world.
About My Role
Led the design team throughout the entire design process of our main application, from concept to final execution, ensuring the vision aligned with business goals and user needs. I Created an extensive Design System to unify visual design principles across all platforms, reducing inconsistencies and friction in the workflow, while enabling closer collaboration between design and development teams for faster and more efficient project execution. Our team worked on designing the BrandBook, developing a unified framework for the brand's visual identity and communication style. We worked together to produce Motion Graphic Videos, enhancing brand messaging through creative animations and compelling visuals.
In addition, I worked closely with the UX/UI team to conduct user research, gather feedback, and iterate on designs based on real user needs and pain points. I facilitated design review sessions with cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment and promoting a collaborative environment. I also drove the adoption of new tools and practices that boosted team efficiency and quality, while mentoring junior designers to help elevate the team's overall skill set.
